MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY (MNP)

- Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is the ability for a mobile subscriber to change the mobile subscription network within the same country whilst retaining his or her original MSISDN or MSISDNs.
- Containerized MNP (C-MNP) from COURZAD, is A robust cloud-native solution that implements Mobile Number Portability functions according to the requirements of 3GPP specifications.
- C-MNP provides the native containerized implementation of SS7 stack over IP4 and/or IPv6 network making the functions of M3UA, SCCP, TCAP and MAP protocol layers.
- The implementation of the number portability database (NPDB) provided as a Microservice in MNP CNF. The schema used in NPDB is quite flexible and customizable to fit the operator’s needs.
- The provisioning module provides REST APIs for the network business subsystem (BSS). It allows the addition, modification and deletion of subscriber porting status, routing information and other related information.
- C-MNP also integrates LDAP access protocol to retrieve porting status from an external database.
